The Cathedral Choir sings choral literature from all musical periods: Gregorian Chant, Renaissance polyphony, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary. The Choir sings at 11:00 A.M. Masses on Sunday and most Solemnities.
Eligibility: Men and Women, ages 16 and older. Audition required.
Children's & Youth Choir
The Cathedral Children's and Youth Choir sings unison, two- and three-part treble choral repertoire. Membership is open to children and youth with treble voices in 2nd-8th grade. The choir will follow the Royal School of Church Music Curriculum which provides instruction in music literacy, musicianship, and liturgical musician formation. All choristers will receive a Voice for Life workbook, and will be awarded RSCM chorister ribbons, medals, and certificates based on workbooks completed and years of service in the Cathedral's Choir.
Schola of Cantors
Consisting of Cathedral Choir members called to additional service. The Schola sings at all Sunday liturgies, occasionally for weekday Feast Observances and at Wedding and Funeral Liturgies.
