The Catholic Corner - Legendary Lodge

This week: Legendary Lodge

For over 50 years our young people have drawn closer to Christ and in friendship with each other at Legendary Lodge, our diocesan summer camp. Campers pack their days with fun as they swim, hike, fish, learn archery, play basketball and more, before a campfire and stories in the evening. Many of the memories made at camp, and friendships, last for decades.

The highest purpose of camp, though, is for our kids to encounter Christ. This happens in God’s beautiful creation, in one another, and in their Catholic Faith through prayer and sacrament. Depending on their age, campers learn more about prayer, reflect on Christ’s presence in their families, friends and parishes and are encouraged to take the initiative as young disciples - bringing Jesus more concretely into their hears and into the world. Camps are: 5-6th grade boys, 5-6th grade girls, Jr. High (2 camps), and High School (2 camps) Registration opens each year on January 1st. There’s still some space! Register now if you have a High School teen (for Leadership Camp) or a 5-6th Grade Boy. Find the full schedule, contact, and camp information at Questions?
