The harvest is abundant, but the laborers are few. God is inviting us all to take up the work of the kingdom of God - but are we actually doing it? Why does Jesus say that there are few laborers? The work of the kingdom is risky! It will be difficult, and we do not always understand where we are supposed to go, what we are supposed to do, or who we are supposed to give witness to. We need to trust that the Lord will provide us the means to do the work and will guide this mission if we give ourselves to Him. When we are on mission, as we see in the Gospel, we will come back joyful disciples!
