Tour the Cathedral

Tours are available by request/reservation for parties of 10 or more Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday between 1 pm and 3 pm. If you have fewer than 10 people, you may still view the Cathedral during open hours, when Masses and other events are not occurring.

Summer Tours run from 1pm to 3pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Tour guides are available during these times and tours do not need to be scheduled ahead of time unless you are with a large group. Summer tours begin after Memorial Day.

Q: Do I need a reservation?

A: Yes and No. If your party is 10 or more a reservation is required. Smaller parties are welcome any time the Cathedral is open and Masses or other events are not taking place.

During the summer, tour guides are available between the hours of 1pm-3pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday without a reservation.

Q: Is there a fee?

A: There is no charge!

Q: How many people may I bring?

A: As many as you like; if you have a party of 10 or more please schedule with the Parish Office.  

Q: May I visit the Cathedral outside of dedicated tour times?

A: Absolutely! Anyone is welcome to visit. Please be aware and respectful of anyone praying or any liturgies in progress.

Q: Is there a gift shop/book store?

A: No, there is not. However, you can visit the Saints Shoppe at Carroll College, located at 1601 N Benton Ave.
